Minimum Requirements: National Senior Certificate, plus a National Diploma/ B Degree in Nursing Science or equivalent qualification that allows registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. SA valid driver’s license. Proof of current registration.

Maintain clinical competence by ensuring that scientific principles of nursing care are implemented. Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Maintain client satisfaction through quality service innovation and professional nursing care by upholding the Batho Pele principles and patient’s rights. To ensure efficient and effective utilization of resources. Render quality nursing care to patients to take overall management of the unit in the absence of the Operational Manager. Duties: Serve as team leader for child and youth care workers during a shift. Supervisor staff. Undertake inspection during a shift and report incidents and problems identified. Perform administrative work relevant to the job. Assist with care of children as the need

Duties: Be responsible for crime prevention Programmes to young persons at risk in and out of school. Assist the Probation Officers in the implementation of diversion Programmes by gathering information for report writing, and like skills Programmes. Provide home-based supervision of young persons who are awaiting trial in the community rather than in prisons or residential care facilities. Provide supervision services to those young people’s placed by the court under community service and probation supervision orders.
