Purpose of the Job
To manage the facilities of the warehouse and to ensure that all the service level agreements are standardized. To ensure compliance with Health and Safety of facilities and equipment.

This position will be responsible for all three facilities of Transpharm (Western Cape, Pretoria and KZN) and will play a supporting role to the DC Managers in executing these responsibilities. This position will require travelling throughout the different provinces.

  5. Overall quality control of interior finishes
  6. Manage service level agreements of outsourced service providers
  7. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety of facilities and equipment and coordination of training

Qualifications
• Grade 12 qualification
• Driver’s license required
Experience
• Three years of supervisory experience in building construction and maintenance work including one year in facility management
• Experience within the Pharmaceutical / FMCG industry will be advantageous

Knowledge and Skills
• Working knowledge of building maintenance; preventative maintenance programs, mechanical equipment, air conditioning, fire systems, emergency power, OSH Act
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills– fluent in English and at least one other official language
• Detail oriented
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Computer literacy ( G Suite & MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
