JUNIOR PRIMARY TEACHER

The successful candidate should have a bubbly personality, bring fun to the classroom and have a love for seeing children thrive in all aspects of school life.  

We would love to receive your application if you are suitably qualified, have experience in a Junior Primary teaching environment and can contribute to our extra mural programme.

Minimum requirements:

  • An appropriate university degree or professional qualification and registered with SACE
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • An innovative approach to teaching the 21st Century Child, including the use of IT in the classroom
  • Willingness to contribute to the School’s extra curricular programme
  • The ability to uphold the Christian Ethos and Values of the School
  • A recent and valid Police clearance, Sexual Offenders and Child Protection clearances
  • A valid driver’s licence and PrDP

SENIOR PRIMARY TEACHER (GRADE 6/7)

The successful candidate should have a vibrant dynamic personality, bring warmth and excitement to the classroom and have a love for seeing children thrive on the sports field.  We would love to receive your application if you are suitably qualified, have experience in a Senior Primary teaching environment. 

The ability to coach senior boys sport is essential and it would be advantageous to have experience in teaching Afrikaans as a 1st Additional Language.

Minimum requirements:

  • An appropriate university degree or professional qualification and registered with SACE
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • An innovative approach to teaching the 21st Century Child, including the use of IT in the classroom
  • An ability and passion for teaching Mathematics
  • An ability and passion for teaching Afrikaans (1st Additional Language) would be an advantage
  • Willingness to contribute to the School’s extra curricular programme with an emphasis on Rugby and Cricket coaching.
  • The ability to uphold the Christian Ethos and Values of the School
  • A recent and valid Police, Sexual Offenders and Child Protection clearances
  • A valid driver’s licence and PrDP

TEACHER ASSISTANTS / FACILITATORS

A successful Teacher Assistant should have pride in being a role model for young children and a love for seeing children thrive in all aspects in school life.  We would welcome your application if you are interested in being considered for a Teacher Assistant position in the Pre Primary, Junior Primary or Senior Primary phases or for children with special needs.  

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Work closely with our academic staff in the classroom daily
  • Offer general Teaching Assistance support to a phase or specific grade

The successful candidates will be required to:

  • Work closely with our academic staff in the classrooms 3 days per week
  • Participate fully in the extra-curricular programme
  • Live in Boarding and assist with Boarding House duties
