INFRASTRUCTURE AND ENGINEERING DIRECTORATE
POSITION CODE: 210154
TASK Grade 3 (R140 676 – R195 576 per annum)
(Basic salary only, excluding benefits)
Qualifications and experience required:
· Appropriate level of Primary Education.
· Physically fit and able bodied; will be required to undergo a medical examination at the NMBM Wellness Centre.
Key attributes and competencies:
· Following laid down procedures and instructions and required to observe safety procedures.
· High level of attention to detail in terms of a clean working environment.
The successful candidate will be required to:
Work in all weather conditions.
Performing general labouring tasks by undertaking trench excavation/backfilling and comparing activities, mixing and filling in concrete mortar in defined areas and providing support during repair/replacement and maintenance applications to sewer pipelines, mains and connections in accordance with instructions.
As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
